"Fight for $15" movement dying as millions go down the drain

The Service Employees International Union’s push to raise the minimum wage to $15 has been losing steam, according to a new 2016 financial disclosure. Under a review by the Department of Labor, the union has spent over $90 million on the “Fight for $15” campaign since 2012. Since then, there has been no major policy victories as a result, and the union itself is slowly losing membership.
