Ivanka Trump announced her support for Equal Pay Day on Tuesday. The first daughter tweeted, “#EqualPayDay is a reminder that women deserve equal pay for equal work. We must work to close the gender pay gap!” Equal Pay Day was initiated in 1996 by the National Committee on Pay Equity in an effort to end the pay gap between American men and women.
