Michael Flynn's prior statements on immunity not helping him now

Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn is currently in discussions with the House and Senate intelligence committees to receive immunity involving an ongoing investigation into Russia’s influence on the 2016 presidential election, but his past remarks about immunity during the Clinton email probe are coming back to haunt him. The Washington Examiner reports that during an appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd in September 2016, Flynn, a then-adviser to Trump, commented on the questionable innocence of former Clinton aides who agreed to testify in exchange for immunity when Clinton was being investigated for using a private email server. The highly
